West Worcestershire's Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate, Richard Burt, will 'walk the constituency' next week [17th -20th October] covering sixty miles over four days.
Mr Burt, who completed a mountain challenge for WaterAid this summer, will be raising money for the Lyttelton Well Christian Centre in Church Street, Malvern. He will be joined en route by supporters and councillors as he makes his way from Sedgberrow to Great Witley via Upton and Malvern, finishing at the Hundred House Hotel!
Richard Burt said: "I visited Lyttelton Well earlier this summer and was very impressed with the level of support they provide through their listening and counselling service. I am delighted to be able to back this invaluable voluntary activity through sponsorship."
The Lib Dem candidate is hoping to call in at the Lyttelton Cafe on the third day of his walk for refreshment, and has encouraged anyone who would like to sponsor him to contact Roy Knightley at the Centre.
"I will be calling at villages along the way, walking around the base of Bredon Hill and across the top of the Malvern hills. It will be a great opportunity to meet and talk to people across the constituency, and what better way to see Worcestershire at its best!" added Mr Burt.
