West Worcestershire's Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate, Richard Burt, is asking residents to share their praises, concerns and experiences of the NHS in Worcestershire in the lead up to the 'Save our Health Service' Rally he has organised in Malvern on Saturday 10th March.
Mr Burt is inviting people to contact him via the West Worcestershire Lib Dems' website (follow the "Your Views" link in the menu on the left) to give him a clearer picture of their experiences of the National Health Service in Worcestershire. He hopes to relay some of these concerns to government ministers and to those who attend the Rally in Malvern's Priory Park.
Richard Burt said: "Not everyone who cares about the NHS can attend the Rally, but nearly everybody has had some contact with their local health services. I want people to send me their own experiences, good and bad, to get a better picture of what it's like to be a recipient of NHS care in Worcestershire.
"You can quote figures and statistics till the cows come home, but most people's views about the NHS are formed by their own experience of it, and I want to take those into account.
"Sometimes the simplest of ideas can make a real difference to providing a quality service, so as well as battling for a fair deal for Worcestershire, I will be happy to pass on suggestions to NHS bosses within the county."
Marchers should gather in Priory Park at 11am on Saturday 10th March. Dr Richard Taylor MP will be the key speaker at the rally, which will start in the park at around 12 noon.
