Richard Burt being filmed and interviewed for "The Lobby" television programme.
Programme makers for ITV's 'The Lobby' spent four hours in Worcestershire yesterday recording the progress of West Worcestershire's Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate, Richard Burt's bid to win the seat at the next General Election, when Sir Michael Spicer stands down.
The programme, which features two Lib Dem target seats, will be screened on ITV1 at 11.35pm next Thursday, and has been made to coincide with the Liberal Democrat Conference in Brighton.
Richard Burt said: "One thing is certain. At the next General Election voters in West Worcestershire will elect a different member of parliament.
"We have led the way locally on the issues that people tell us matter most; health and the environment.
"I organised a Worcestershire wide NHS rally and have joined with staff from Bransford to lead the campaign to save our Ambulance Emergency Control.
"Next week I will be presenting our report and recommendations, drawn up from a recent constituency wide environment survey, offering details proposals for our local councils and government to deliver a zero-carbon Worcestershire in a zero-carbon Britain by 2050."
