Burt's Christmas Card Fund Raiser For Malvern Special Families

Local Parliamentary Candidate, Richard Burt visited Malvern Special Families last Wednesday at Malvern Hills Primary School, during their half term activities, to judge a Christmas card design competition.

Richard met the special needs children and their Leaders on a visit to the school last summer during the campaign to save Malvern Hills Primary School.

"I was very impressed with the work done by Malvern Special Families, running holiday and weekend activities for over 100 families with special needs children across the district.

"Malvern Hills Primary School was the ideal base for them, but with the school closing they will have to make new plans for the future.

"I want to support their activities and was delighted when they took up my offer to run a Christmas card design competition amongst the children.

"The winning design will be printed on a special Christmas card to be distributed to nearly 40,000 homes across West Worcestershire constituency.

"As well as a Christmas greeting, residents will find details of how to donate to Malvern Special Families through their website or by sending a cheque in the post."
