Liberal Democrats will launch a small business survey in the new year locally, seeking responses from business owners and managers across Worcestershire as part of a national sounding on the deepening recession.
West Worcestershire's Parliamentary Candidate, Richard Burt said the results from the survey would help Lib Dem Shadow Chancellor, Vince Cable and his team continue to focus on the real concerns of small business owners and managers.
"We believe this new survey is particularly important to understand not just the economic climate facing businesses, but also the political response to the recession which we will fight to change," said Richard.
"The results will be entirely confidential and will help Vince and his team make sure the Government takes the action that is needed to help keep Britain's businesses on their feet.
The survey follows Mr Cable's 'round table' discussion with small and medium business owners in Worcestershire last November. Mr Burt's wife, Lorely is the Liberal Democrat Shadow Minister for Small Business and has helped devise the survey.
