Richard Burt has taken up the case for Hook Bank Park residents after they were told they may not get a replacement post box.
"I visited homes on the park recently and heard that they had been promised a new box three times, but may not now get a replacement after waiting nine months," said Richard.
"I think it's appalling and decided to try to get something done.
"I have registered a separate complaint with the Post Office and contacted the new government funded advice service, Consumer Direct. They advised me to complain in writing to the Postal Review Panel, which I hope will result in a new box for Hook Bank residents.
"The box should have been replaced within weeks. It's just not acceptable use a damaged box as an excuse for cutting the service."
