Richard Burt has persuaded First Great Western (FGW) to look again at moving a train stopping point disturbing residents in Fruitlands, Malvern Wells.
Richard initially contacted Network Rail after complaints about the noise caused by high speed trains stopping and turning on the line at the bottom of residents' gardens.
Their request was initially turned down, but Richard wrote to FGW Managing Director, Mark Hopwood, and he has agreed to contact Network Rail 'to see if there is any possibility of a move'.
Richard said: "I was not happy with Network Rail trying to pass the buck, as it is their responsibility to manage the track and equipment. I am delighted that the train company and Network Rail will now talk to each other to try to find a solution."
