County Council Elections: Vote for Richard Whitehead in Malvern Trinity on May 6th
RICHARD WHITEHEAD - MALVERN TRINITY
Richard has lived on Malvern for 12 years, raised his family here and taught at a local school for some years. He is a specialist in dyslexia, ADHD and autism; alongside his own specialist practice he runs a small company, operating across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and India, that trains
individuals to provide effective interventions based on respect for the creative talents that accompany these learning difficulties. He is also Trustee of a small charity that raises funds for people on low incomes who need this kind of help. Based on his wide experience in education, he wants to see a greater emphasis on creativity in all our schools.
He is passionate about the environment, particularly the need to reduce waste, an issue where Worcestershire currently has a poor record. He has been a Lib Dem District Councillor in Malvern since 2019 and will work for a strongly proactive environmental policy at both District and County level. He sees this as key to improving everyone's well being, both now and in the future.
He has been a committed vegan since his teens. He speaks six European languages. He and his wife enjoy walking their dog on the Malvern Hills close to where they live.
