Sharon Gibbons

Sharon moved to Pershore in the 1970’s.  She joined West Mercia Police in 1980
and retired as a Chief Inspector after 30 years.  Sharon served in South
Worcestershire, as Inspector for Wychavon and Chief Inspector responsible for the
local policing area. She was involved in many initiatives and demonstrated a can-do
attitude to her work.

Sharon lived in Birlingham for 14 years, and her daughter attended Defford School.

After retirement Sharon retrained as a Counsellor and established her own private
practice.  She became a Town Councillor in Pershore in 2023 and has been active in
events such as the Plum Festival and Georgian Christmas market.

Sharon has a proven record of serving the community and has continued to do so
since her retirement.  She understands the issues faced locally and is passionate
about bringing real improvements for everyone.

Sharon says, ‘I am excited to be given the opportunity to serve the people living in
the Bredon Division.  The Conservatives have run out of ideas and a new team with
fresh thinking and real-life experience is needed.  If elected I will utilise my vast
experience to bring about real change and to ensure that local people get a fair deal’
