Owen Ralph
Owen moved to Worcestershire during the covid pandemic, having grown up just
outside Birmingham. Recently married in 2024, Owen and his wife welcomed a
cocker spaniel puppy into their home earlier this year.
With just under 10 years’ experience in public service Owen saw the 2024 local
elections as a chance to become active in politics. He’s worked in the Civil Service,
BBC and Amazon before taking his passion for developing people to work in a law
Firm in Bristol. Working in a hybrid role means he can make the most of his adopted
hometown, whether it’s paying a visit to the independent shops or taking in the
heritage of the Medieval festival and markets and introducing friends and family to
the area.
Owen has a reputation for listening to what people need, understanding what their
challenges are and finding ways to act for them. He said, “I’m passionate about
making a positive difference to my local area and take pride in advocating for people.
I’ve done as a this youth leader, for my friends and at work and would love to do the
same for the people of Worcestershire.”
