Malvern Link

Chris McSweeny

After a 30 year career in computing and IT, I am currently training to become a
climbing instructor. I also play trumpet and trombone in a covers band.

I’m father to two school age children studying at The Chase. Having lived in Powick
for 20 years, I’m now living in Malvern Link so have experience of both the issues
affecting our villages and Malvern. I’ve campaigned against unsustainable
development and continue to work for better facilities for pedestrians and cyclists in
our area.

I love the outdoors and enjoy rock climbing, watersports, cycling and walking or
running on our beautiful hills. I’m passionate about the environment and water
quality. I can also often be spotted in the local area riding my unicycle!

I’m now standing to be your county councillor at the elections in May at a time when
change is desperately needed.
