Malvern Trinity
Jamie Cramp
Jamie Cramp recently retired after 40-years in Nursing specialising in Head Injuries
and disability. This has shown him the importance of rehabilitation back into the
community and, in an era of scarce resources, the need to promote good health
education choices for all.
Jamie and his family have lived in West Malvern for over 20 years. He hopes to be
able to represent the views and needs of all residents on the County Council.
He is a lifelong Liberal Democrat and has been a County Councillor for the party
when he was Education spokesperson. He has wide experience of serving his
community, whether by getting streetlights repaired, potholes dealt with, ensuring
housing development meets community needs and working hard to protect and
enhance the environment.
If elected, Jamie would work for all residents regardless of their political views or
none. He is concerned that Malvern, with its world-famous Hills and environment,
could be seen as rich pickings for developers looking to make a quick profit, whilst
ignoring the needs of local people in need of affordable housing. Jamie believes it is
vital to maintain the Malvern environment as a centre of rest, recreation and
wellbeing for local people and the West Midlands too.
