Tenbury
Jed Marson
I am standing as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Tenbury Division in the
Worcestershire County Council elections on 1st May 2025. I live in Hallow, just past
Little Witley, where my daughters first got to know ponies. My eldest now serves on
Hallow Parish Council, so out of respect, I’m standing in Tenbury to avoid any conflict
of interest.
I also serve as Vice Chair Campaigns of the Green Liberal Democrats, working on
flooding, rural transport, and sustainable growth. I recently spoke at the Terrils Lane
Inquiry, where local people fought planning failures caused by 14 years of inaction
from our MP and county leadership.
I want to fix local transport, support our farmers and small businesses, and get real
investment in flood defences. Worcestershire is falling behind, with crumbling roads,
bus cuts, and housing that local people can’t afford. Social care, the biggest item in
the county’s budget, is collapsing under Conservative mismanagement.
The Conservatives have failed Worcestershire, and the Independent-Green-led
administration in Malvern Hills has been chaos. Tenbury deserves better. I offer hard
work, real results, and a clear plan for our community.
